SUMMMER ACTIVITIES IN SERRE CHEVALIER

Summer is a great time in Serre Chevalier with a wealth of outdoor activities healthy. Courses accessible to everyone: family, friends, or lovers of two wheels.
 

Try downhill bike park (3 lifts in continuous operation during the summer and which link you to the top of the field up to 2450 m). The Bike Park has an area north shore, including various wooden modules for the experienced practitioners. Ludipark acccessible is a walk to lifts and allows beginners to discover fun course.

Serre Chevalier has a BMX outstanding track (in July 2012 running of the European BMX Games).


For anyone interested in road bike and Moto, discover contrasting scenery, winding roads of peitites through the most famous passes in the history of cycling. Follow in the footsteps of legendary riders like Eddy Merckx, Bernard Hinault, Fausto Coppi and Lance Armstrong.


The Col du Galibier (2645m) is one of the most beautiful Alpine passes with views of magnificent glaciers and the top of the Meije (3987m)
The Col d'Izoard (2361m) one of the most famous climbs, Begins to Briançon and reaches the summit reached with panoramic views of Briançon and Queyras. You can not get cervical "Casse Deserted" landscape contrast very reminiscent of the surface of the moon.
The Col du Granon (2413m) you will have magnificent views of the valley of the Guisane of Meije the Barre des Ecrins (4102m) and Pelvoux (3946m) and then enjoy the descent!
The surrounding mountains are places very popular with climbers: Barre des Ecrins at 4102m, the Pelvoux Meije the Lambs, Mount Tabor and the Grand Galibier.

Since the Lautaret, Guisane follows the valley of Serre Chevalier, alpine river ideal for a discovery or refresh in a small mountain torrents of waters. Anglers will find satisfaction in capturing trout or brook trout.
Altitude lakes, crystal clear, located at 1800 above are allowed to fish during the legal period of operation: Oule Lake, Round Lake Cristol Lake, easily accessible from Col du Granon and the Great Lake of Monetier, Béraudes Lake, Lake of the Ponsonnière
